Training Needs Survey of Rural Public Safety and Maritime Personnel - 2010

Established in 2005 by Congress, the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium (RDPC) develops and delivers all‐hazards preparedness training to rural communities across America. The mission of RDPC is to coordinate the development and delivery of preparedness training in support of rural homeland security requirements and facilitate relevant information sharing. RDPC targets the most specific audiences in its training efforts, such as emergency responders along inland navigable waterways. These waterways have unique safety and security issues, which require specific training for all agencies responsible for the planning of and response to security incidents.
