Course Description

The purpose of the self-paced, web-based (5 contact hours) AWR 148: Crisis Management for School-Based Incidents-W course is to provide schools, law enforcement personnel and other emergency responders in rural communities training in how to use the often times limited resources available to them. Therefore, it is critical for all stakeholders to plan, prepare, and communicate. This web-based course provides rural law enforcement officials and school personnel information and training tools to be better prepared to actively work together to make all school systems and school buildings safer and more secure.
