BENTONVILLE - Northwest Arkansas Community College served as the host Wednesday for the Rural Domestic Preparedness Consortium's Advisory Board meeting, held on NWACC's main campus in Bentonville.

Established by Congress and the Department of Homeland Security to help meet the need for quality training for the nation's rural emergency responders, the consortium is comprised of academic partners with extensive experience and capabilities in developing and delivering homeland-security curriculum to the rural emergency-response community, an RDPC Web site states.
