Dr. Jane Cash

Over the past 30 years, Dr. Cash has developed skills and expertise that are essential for working in all-hazards disaster planning, training, and exercises from a health systems-public health and medical services and mass care and emergency management perspective. She has both educational and work experience related to epidemiology, isolation & quarantine, forensic epidemiology and public health science; prevention, protection, response and recovery planning, assessment, and analysis; assessment of standard operating procedures; strategic planning, evaluation and outcomes management; and performance and needs assessments. Dr. Cash began her career as a public health nurse in a county health department and over the next 25 years continued to develop her skills and knowledge in the areas of epidemiology, biostatistics, health policy and planning, health promotion and disease prevention, communicable diseases and global emerging infections. Dr. Cash holds a PhD in Administration of Higher Education with Minors in Public Health Science, Institutional Planning, and Nursing.
