Mr. Michael L. Webber is an instructor with The University of Findlay, an academic partner of the RDPC.

Post Commander (Retired) Webber is a veteran law enforcement officer by virtue of his 29 years experience in law enforcement community and criminal justice system in the state of Ohio where he has applied his skills through service in the State of Ohio’s Highway Patrol.

Mr. Webber has trained and worked with law enforcement agencies throughout the state of Ohio and is distinguished by his founding of the Hancock County “Protecting Our Own” program; serving as a member of the Board of Directors for Hancock County Crime Stoppers, the Hancock and Hardin County 911 boards, and the local county Big Brothers and Sisters organization.

In his current role as a trainer for The University of Findlay (Ohio), Mr. Webber is responsible for the development, organization, and presentation requirements for The University of Findlay’s Center for Terrorism Preparedness programs pertaining to School Crisis Management, Active Shooter Team Deployment Tactics, Terrorist/Criminal Attack Survival Skills, Firearm Training System (FATS), Community Vulnerability Assessment Methodology (CVAMSM), Maritime Security, and Development of Private and Public Sector Crisis Response Plans.

Mr. Webber is also a certified instructor for the National Sheriff’s Association and The University of Findlay’s National Center of Excellence for Environmental Management, Environmental Resource Training Center.
