Mr. Dusty G. Kitzmiller is an instructor with Eastern Kentucky University, an academic partner of the RDPC.
Mr. Kitzmiller is a senior homeland security / emergency consultant to numerous agencies and private sector companies and has extensive experience designing, developing, training, exercising and implementing and evaluating emergency response programs domestically and abroad. His current areas of responsibilities include preparing emergency responders for the challenges of traumatic events during a large scale or mass casualty event through the implementation of methodical Training and Exercise Plan programs.
Mr. Kitzmiller has completed numerous Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Training and Education Division (NTED) Course Desk, and National Incident Management System (NIMS) onsite reviews (28) and is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological, explosives)/HazMat (hazardous materials), emergency management and incident command. He leads development, facilitation, evaluation and control of training and exercises and the development of subordinate training analysts and consultants.
Mr. Kitzmiller has also led development efforts for security management in support of United States Department of State’s Project Contracting office in Iraq and developed numerous training and exercise programs.
